Originally formed as a subsidiary of an international wholesale distributor, PFSweb began its history extending core competencies, such as logistics and customer service, to Fortune 500 manufacturers on an outsourcing basis. With the rapid development of the online marketplace, we were well positioned to become a pioneer in eCommerce supporting emerging online brands. Today, our client portfolio reflects expertise with organizations that dominate almost every major industry.

In 1999, we did an IPO and today remain one of the few public companies in this space. In a strategic effort to further the depth of our eCommerce expertise, we also operate a wholly owned subsidiary, eCOST.com. Serving as a leading multi-category online discount retailer of brand-name technology products and consumer electronics, eCOST.com markets approximately 170,000 different products from leading manufacturers such as Sony, JVC, Canon, Hewlett-Packard, Denon, Onkyo, Garmin, Panasonic, Toshiba and Microsoft primarily over the Internet and through direct marketing.

Our operations feature 7 distribution centers and 4 call centers with presence and expertise across multiple international markets. In 2007, we shipped $2.6 billion in client merchandise, responded to over 4 million customer contacts and expanded our fulfillment centers to feature over 2.5 million square feet.
